Both Libby and I took last Friday off to begin our weekend voyage to the midwest. We flew to St. Louis direct each with our puppy companion. We enjoyed a wonderful two day visit with my family, Libby's family, and friends.

We flew to Chicago on Sunday and spent the afternoon walking around the Navy Pier area, enjoying a hot dog, and walking our weiner dogs.

In the evening, we had to opportunity to see Anjum and Nomy celebrate their marriage in front of friends and family of their own. Congratulations to both of you and we wish them many happy years together.

We flew back mid-day Monday in time to pick up Lulu for her hernia surgery the next morning. The vet put her orange-sized hernia back into its place and she's looking much better. She's going to her forever home tomorrow (a previous adopter).
